The MS ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System, Forestry Department Peninsular Malaysia (FDPM) has expired on 14 September, 2018. The Department has appointed an Independent Certification Body namely AJA EQS Certification Sdn Bhd to assist formulation and in the implementation of MS ISO 9001: 2015 beginning this year on a contract basis for three (3) years starting from 1st Jun 2018 to 31st May 2021. Currently, FDPM is in the process of formulating the MS ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Documents under a new scope, policy and quality objectives. Announcement should be made upon when the entire process of formulating the MS ISO 9001: 2015 documentation is finalized. It is expected that the first audit will occur by the middle 2019.
