To further strengthen these measures, FDPM has also provided a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Degazettement of Permanent Reserved Forest (PRF), set a target of 5 Million hectares of PRF’s area in Peninsular Malaysia by 2020, as well as transformed the method of implementation of activities in the harvesting process. Therefore, in order to attain the direction and target of FDPM’s achievement, high expertise, commitment and integrity among forestry personnel is very much needed and I am confident that all staffs possess such work ethics and values. -
