Rhacophorus norhayatii

Rhacophorus norhayatii first recorded by a group of researchers from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) during the Scientific Expedition of Forest Biological Diversity of Gunung Panti Forest Reserve, Johor in 2006. The discovery of this species recorded as a new species was named after the researchers who discovered this finding. Until now, records show the distribution of this species in Ulu Muda Forest Reserve, Kedah; Tanah Rata in Cameron Highlands, Pahang; Gunung Besar Hantu, Negeri Sembilan; Endau Rompin National Park and Gunung Panti Forest Reserve, Johor. Special features available on Rhacophorus norhayatii that distinguish it with others are the pigmented dark skin between digits (black and blue spots), daark blue side body with a thin brown line at the border and the evenly green color dirsal (upper body). Dimensions of adult frogs are 64.7 mm (nozzle-anal, SVL), while female adult frogs with a maximum of 83 mm.
