    The act of giving, soliciting and accepting any gratification (money, donation, gifts, loan, sex, fee, discount, rebate, commission, bonus, valuable goods, assets and etc) or submitted and/or certified false expenditure claims. (Sec. 17 and 18 of the MACC Act 2009


    Penal Code

    The act of forging documents / information, criminal breach of trust, cheating, impersonating and abetment the above offence. (Sec. 109, 165, 168, 405, 409, 420, 468 Penal Code)

    Abuse of power

    Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission Act 2009 ( Act 694)

    Used rank, position, post where he or she gains benafits that involved himself/herself and famaly members. (Sec. 23 of the MACC Act 2009)

    Weakness of systems and procedures

    Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission Act 2009 ( Act 694)

    Procrastination in the process and approval of licence/permit, payment claim for works and services, poor file and record management, delay in taking immediate action on public complaints and etc. [Sec. 7 (c),(d) and (e) of the MACC Act 2009


    Public Officers procedures(Conduct and Discpline) 1993

    Unethical conduct, undisciplined, doing business without primission improper attire, drugs, sexual harassment, maintaining standard of living beyond emoluments, serious indebtedness, absent from duty and etc. (Article 4-23)
