- All applications for information regarding the management, development, and conservation of forest resources and the timber industry will be processed within fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt. For geospatial data requests, the period applies only after receiving security clearance and the required payment.

Provision of technical advice concerning the management, development, and conservation of forest resources, and the timber industry will be submitted within fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt.

Provision of legal advice regarding forestry issues will be submitted within fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt of complete documents/information.

Decisions on applications to conduct studies/research within Permanent Reserved Forests (PRFs) in Peninsular Malaysia will be notified within fourteen (14) working days after receiving written comments from the respective State Forestry Department.

All applications for non-classified publications will be distributed within fourteen (14) working days from the date the application is received.

Decisions on applications to organize training, courses, or workshops by any division within the Department will be notified within fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt.

Decisions for applications to attend the Forest Ranger Certificate Course and the Forest Guard Certificate Course at the Forestry Training Institute (FORTRAIN), Kepong, will be notified within thirty (30) working days after the interview session.

An acknowledgement of receipt of complaints shall be issued to the complainant within one (1) working day, and initial feedback shall be provided within fifteen (15) working days.

Payment for complete bills and invoices will be processed in no more than fourteen (14) working days.

All applications for information from State and Federal Stakeholders will be submitted within fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt, except for information that has not yet been obtained by the Department.

All applications to extract forest produce and for usage permits will be issued within a period not exceeding three (3) months from the date approval is granted, provided all approval conditions have been met.

Approval for applications to operate wood-based mills will be issued within a period not exceeding three (3) months from the date of approval by the State Authority (PBN), in accordance with established procedures.

Licenses to operate wood-based mills will be issued within a period not exceeding three (3) months from the date approval is granted or from the date the mill construction is completed provided that all approval conditions have been fulfilled.

Decisions regarding applications to extend or renew forest produce extraction licenses or wood-based mill operating licenses will be made within thirty (30) working days from the date the application is received, provided that all conditions have been met.
